The XIII Zabaikalsky International Film Festival announced the the main competition: 8 films from 11 countries will compete for the main awards

The organizers of the XIII Zabaikalsky International Film Festival have revealed the program of the main competition.

This year, the festival confirms its international status: the competition program includes movies from Russia, Vietnam, Germany, France, Hungary, China, Belarus, Mongolia, Singapore, the United Kingdom and the United States.

A total of 8 films are competing for the main awards. The jury will determine the winners in the nominations:

· "Best movie"
· "Best Director"
· "Best Actor"
· "Best Actress"
· "Best script"

The "Audience Award" will also be awarded at the end of the festival.

A special feature of the XIII festival will be the preservation of its full-fledged international status. Despite the current global agenda, the Zabaikalsky International Film Festival remains an open platform for professional dialogue, presenting the audience with relevant films from Asia, Europe and America.

— We are proud to collect films from all over the world again. Transbaikalia is Russia's gateway to Asia, and our festival has historically been a bridge between cultures. The main competition features powerful paintings from recognized masters and bright debutants," the program directorate noted.

The results of the festival and the winning films will be announced at the closing ceremony on May 24.
