Young people press against each other on  the bench in bright sunshine clutching their white canes and listening to the sounds that should help them put together the puzzle of their existence. They are patients at the world-famous specialized clinic in Lisbon. Ian, their new instructor in space orientation, wants to go beyond traditional methods and to help them investigate their environment so that they shouldn’t feel vulnerable and be afraid. He tries to stimulate their curiosity and imagination. When things spin out of control, the question arises: how real is the image of the world that Ian tries to instill in his pupils? And to what extent he himself is honest with them?
