The great warrior Yang is a living legend born on the battlefield. He was so strong that no army could overcome him. Once, when he was exterminating the enemies of his clan, the samurai refused to kill a little girl, and now he faces the death penalty. With the baby in his arms he escapes to the New World, to  America and finds refuge in a backwater town, where the citizens live in constant fear of the merciless Colonel… Even here the past haunts Yang. He is forced to draw his sword again…

Writer, director. After graduating from New York University’s film program in 1995 with both an M.A. and M.F.A. in cinema studies and film production, Lee became a founding member of the film department at the Korean National University of Art, where he continues to teach. Won three major screenplay awards in South Korea. Penned a dozen feature screenplays and written and directed numerous short films. “The Warrior’s Way” is his first full-length film.
