The action is set in Britain in the Victorian times. The protagonist, Benjamin the clockmaker, lives in a small house next to the ancient tower. Accidentally he receives a mysterious doll from a little girl. This encounter sets off a series of amazing events, which will eventually help Benjamin to understand the secret of the enigmatic tower.
