The fate of the protagonist Sandra depends on the decision of several people, forced to choose between her and money. In an attempt to sway their decision in her favor she tries to find in their hearts something which seems to be no longer there.

JEAN-PIERRE & LUC DARDENNE
Brothers Jean-Pierre (1951) and Luc (1954) Dardenne born in Belgium. After studying drama in the arts institute they made some videos. After their meeting with filmmaker Armad Gatti and cinematographer Ned Burgess, they decided to enter in the movie business. Their film “La Promesse” (1996) was a success worldwide winning awards in many festivals. In 1999 they had another hit with “Rosetta”, that won the Palme d'Or at the Cannes Festival. They movies “The Son” (2002), “The Child” (2005), “Lorna's Silence” (2008), “The Kid with a Bike” (2011) also won awards at the Cannes IFF and in other festivals.
