In a far-away village at the foot of the Alps people keep disappearing. At the same time the police suspect that this is one of the points through which illegal migrants are smuggled to Western Europe. Besides all of it is in some mysterious way related to the cruel murder which took place twenty years ago at the border between Italy and Slovenia. Police inspector Lana arrives on the scene. She has only a few days to untangle the mysteries…

CLAUDIO NOCE
Born in Rome in 1975. Director and scriptwriter, his work starts in the late 90's, when he begins filming his first short movies and documentaries and engages collaborations with various Italian artists and advertising companies. Noce's breakthrough in the Italian cinematography arrives in 2005, when he wins the prestigious Italian awards David di Donatello and the Silver Ribbon with his short “Aria” also wins the Jameson Short Film Award at the Venice IFF. His first feature film “Good Morning, Aman” (2009) won FICE Award (Italian Federation of Cinema d'Essai) for Breakthrough Directing. “The Ice Forest” is his second feature film.
