It is 1952. A talented doctor Irina lives and works in a backwater. There’s no one to look after her baby daughter – the neighbor goes to work too and the doctor is needed at the local medical unit. She needs a nurse and has no option but to hire almost the first woman that comes her way not knowing what sort of person she is and what events are about to take place.
