A new interpretation of Anton Chekhov’s “The Cherry Orchard”. The estate of the landowner Lyubov Ranevskaya. Spring, cherry trees are in full bloom. But the wonderful orchard will soon be cut down and the estate will be sold to pay the debts. The landowner and her daughter come from Paris to say good-bye to the estate and meet all the generations of the noblemen’s nest. The characters of the film impersonate three different epochs: some of them live in the past and are immersed in memories of the bygone days, others are busy with the day-to-day problems and try to make profit out of thin air itself, still others look far ahead, ignoring what is going on right under their noses.
