Saparkul and his family have returned to their historical motherland – Kazakhstan. All the challenges are in the past, what lies ahead is a bright cloudless life in the land of their ancestors at the Toretam station. Saparkul’s father, Bazarbay, have an indistinct memory of his motherland. He was just a baby when he left it, now when he got back he’s already a very old man. He understands how difficult it will be for his children and grandkids who grew up in a foreign land, to naturalize. On their way Bazarbay decides to tell them about Kazakhstan, and just before he dies, he makes his son promise: whatever happens, they will never go back. However, Saparkul not only keeps the promise, but singlehandedly builds a mosque.
