The brilliant Leonardo Da Vinci lived in Milan at different times. There he tried to be a scientist, an artist and created some of his greatest masterpieces like “The Last Supper” in the Convent of Santa Maria delle Grazie.
This documentary is based on the large-scale exhibition devoted to Leonardo Da Vinci which was held as part of EXPO-2015. Guided by top specialists, the viewer will have a unique chance to study the works and personality of one of the greatest artists of all time, and thanks to the 4K technology one can literally get inside the mechanics of his versatile creative process.
The film is the result of six years of work by leading specialists on Leonardo. The exhibition includes 12 sections which scientifically study different paths that lured the genius: the fundamentals of drawing, the role of nature and science, the comparison of the arts, thoughts on ancient traditions, utopic projects, anatomy and mechanics, the unity of knowledge, divine images, ages-old myths (for example that about the success of “Mona Lisa”) etc.
