This is a tragic story of a random meeting of a man and a woman from different worlds. Sergey, a young correspondent of a local newspaper finds himself in a remote abandoned village, where he meets a strange hermit woman. She is nothing more than an excuse for an article for him. He seems to be the only man; she has met in her life. Sergey cannot imagine that his life is going to change and his tragic destiny is awaiting him in this old shabby hut.
