A precocious orphan from Central Asia comes to America to find his long lost mother. Along the way he befriends a down on his luck small time hustler, and together they set in motion a daring scheme to solve all their problems. However, things don't go according to plan.
RUSLAN AKUN
Born in Kyrgyz Republic. Studied at the School of Visual Arts in New York and at the courses for young filmmakers in Bishkek. Graduated from department of mass communications of the American University in Central Asia. In 2014, he entered the magistrate at the USC School of Cinematic Arts, Los Angeles. His filmography includes “Do Not Grieve” (2009, doc.), “I Am So Beautiful, Should I Die” (2009, doc.), “Thank You” (2010, short), “Bishkek, I Love You” (2011), “Hello, New York” (2013), etc.
