The protagonist is an artist. His paintings are a kind of injection into contemporary art, because the painter’s canvases are “whipped out” by acrylic threads that stretch out of a syringe. The thread to feelings, consciousness and subconsciousness, which, superimposed on the threads of the canvas forms a unique fabric of visible and invisible, thus becoming a new binding thread between primary and artistic reality. Reality, visible and invisible, obvious and hidden feelings, message and perception, reality and dream, consciousness and subconsciousness, love and faith – through all this the thread of the hero’s memories stretches, constantly leading him to comprehension of events of the remote past through the prism of the present, leading to a foreboding of the future...

KONSTANTIN ODEGOV

Born in 1959 in Omsk, USSR. Film director, scriptwriter. Graduated from Tyumen State University in 1986 as a journalist. In 1986–1992 he served as a correspondent and sports commentator for the main editorial office of the Committee on Television and Radio Broadcasting. Since 1992 – director general of the Studio PRESSING film company. Prizewinner of national and international film festivals. Film director of more than 60 documentaries. Among his features we can name “Shootout” (2000), “Parisian Love of Kostya Gumankov” (2005), “The Heirs” (2008).
